Humidity is one of these factors. Homogeneous moisture distribution in greenhouses is a direct determinant not only for plant health but also for disease management, photosynthesis efficiency and energy consumption efficiency.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In recent years, the use of high-pressure humidification systems has ushered in a new era in microclimate control. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the scientific basis of greenhouse humidity control, the advantages of high-pressure fogging technology and its integration with automation systems. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenclimate.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/photo_2021-01-14_13-54-16-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-29784\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greenclimate.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/photo_2021-01-14_13-54-16-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.greenclimate.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/photo_2021-01-14_13-54-16-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.greenclimate.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/photo_2021-01-14_13-54-16.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p><strong>Moisture Balance in Greenhouses: Basic Principles<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Physiological processes in plants, such as transpiration and photosynthesis, are directly related to ambient humidity. %60-%Plants that develop healthily in the 90% relative humidity range become stressed outside these limits: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Low humidity \u2192 closure of stomata, slowing of photosynthesis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High humidity \u2192 increase in fungal and bacterial diseases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In this context, maintaining the microclimate consistently at target values is one of the main goals of greenhouse engineering.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Working Principle of High Pressure Fogging Systems<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>High-pressure humidification systems distribute water in the form of fog to the environment by turning it into micron-sized particles with the help of special pumps and nozzles operating between 60-100 bar.
