Technology-driven greenhouse cultivation, which offers uninterrupted, high-yielding and high-quality production throughout the year by overcoming the limits of traditional methods, is not only a production model but also a strategic investment area. <\/p>\n<p>Modern approaches that eliminate the dependence of traditional greenhouse farming on climatic conditions and human labor are transforming agriculture into a more predictable, controllable and profitable industry. Geographical Distribution<\/h3>\n<p>About <strong> 90% of<\/strong> the country&#8217;s total greenhouse production is concentrated in <strong> Antalya, Mersin, Adana and Mu\u011fla<\/strong>. Antalya alone has 57% of the total greenhouse area in Turkey. With the use of geothermal resources, new regions such as \u015eanl\u0131urfa are also on the rise.  <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8\">1.3. Challenges of Traditional Greenhouse Farming and the Need for Modernization<\/h3>\n<p>Most of the existing greenhouses do not have adequate air conditioning systems. Heating is usually not done and ventilation is inadequate. This causes yield and quality losses, as well as the spread of diseases such as <strong>Botrytis (lead mold)<\/strong>. These technological deficiencies cause Turkey to lag behind its productivity potential.   <\/p>\n<\/section>\n<p>        <!-- B\u00f6l\u00fcm 2 --><\/p>\n<section id=\"bolum2\" class=\"mb-16 prose prose-lg max-w-none\">\n<h2 class=\"text-3xl font-bold section-title\">Part 2: The Heart of the Modern Greenhouse: Air Conditioning Technologies<\/h2>\n<div class=\"grid md:grid-cols-2 gap-12\">\n<div>\n<h3 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8\">2.1. Heating Systems<\/h3>\n<p>Modern heating <strong>can increase<\/strong> yields <strong>by up to two times<\/strong>. According to the Ministry&#8217;s feasibility reports, the investment return period of a 30-acre geothermal project is calculated as <strong>4 years<\/strong>. This shows that the project is profitable despite the high initial cost.  <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8\">4.4. Government Supports and Loans<\/h3>\n<p>The state strongly supports modern greenhouse production. Investment loans of <strong> up to 75%, with a 7-year maturity and a grace period for the first 2 years<\/strong> are available through Ziraat Bank.
